Abstract
This article reviews the use of arbitration in the resolution of contract disputes between management and labor, in both private and public sector. The pertinent issue addressed involves the need for standardized criteria, similar to that utilized by the private sector, to assist the arbitrator who is resolving disputes in the public sector.
