Abstract
Women have and will continue to change the labor force. Though many women are found in low-paying jobs, legislation and case law offer legal guidelines to address pay equity as society moves into the twenty-first century. Employers and employees have the responsibility to become aware of women's position and status in the work force and understand gender-based wage discrimination law and its legal implications. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
