Abstract
Over 900 employees in manufacturing jobs across a number of industrial organizations were surveyed to determine levels of pay and benefits, and satisfaction level with each. The sample was divided between public and private sector organizations and between union and nonunion employees. Relationships were explored between levels of, and satisfaction with, pay and benefits, and between organization type and union status and satisfaction levels. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
