Abstract
This paper investigates the pattern of strikes among public school teachers from 1946 to 1973. Changes in the frequency of teacher strikes were found to be highly responsive to changes in the economic and legal conditions surrounding the collective bargaining relationship. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
