Upcoming historic publications on the sequenced human genome

Five years ahead of the original schedule, the 3.2 billion base pairs of human DNA had now been sequenced through a collaborative effort by scientists around the world. Beginning February 12, 2001, the online sites of Science and Nature magazine will offer free access to their upcoming issues on this historic event through their web sites: www.sciencemag.org and www.nature.com/genomics.
