Well written and easy to read and understand, this up-to-date reference by Harvey Simon is relevant and filled with practical suggestions. Directed to health care consumers, the material is surprisingly timely, presenting state-of-the-art recommendations as well as carefully balanced insights into controversial issues in the rapidly changing world of clinical prevention. The author accomplishes his task thoroughly, with ease and wit. Staying Well is as complete a guide as you will find.
Often entertaining, and never dry, the book was very interesting to read. Certainly lay audiences, for which the book is written, will find it enjoyable, informative, and practical. However, many health professionals will also find it very useful for themselves and their patients.
