						<Abstract Language="En">The United States now has had over two decades of experimentation with collective bargaining under law in the public sector. According to the author, this experience indicates that the process should be curtailed significantly. He bases this opinion on an analysis of the differences between industry and government as they relate to collective bargaining. In this article the author discusses these differences and concludes that the fundamental error made in most public sector bargaining laws is that they have been wrongly patterned after the industrial model.</Abstract>
