						<Abstract Language="En">This work represents an overview of pertinent case law relating to the rights of public school teachers to form and join unions. The issue is judicially well-settled. The right is one protected by the First and Fourteenth Amendments of the U. S. Constitution. Those who would abridge these rights are subject to action under the Civil Rights Act of 1871.</Abstract>
