Abstract

This article reflects on and discusses experience and knowledge gained in mediation since publication of the author's earlier article on the subject, and also discusses the value of interest arbitration. The article describes difficulties encountered in mediation, with examples from specific disputes, and continues the author's earlier discussion of techniques of positive mediation which in the opinion of the author lead to success in this field.
