Abstract
College students in different majors were surveyed to determine their attitudes toward union. Majors were selected to examine different professional groups. Some of these groups are projected to be growth sectors for future union organizing. While females and nonmanagement students held slightly more positive attitudes toward unions, the topic of unionism did not appear to be salient to students at this point in time. Reasons for these findings are offered along with a discussion of students' career expectations. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
