						<Abstract Language="En">The impact of public sector bargaining structure upon strike activity is analyzed in this article. Some research findings within the Israeli public sector suggest that a decentralized bargaining structure may reduce significantly strike stress and strike volume. A highly centralized bargaining structure must ignore the needs and demands of unique groups and must resist bargaining concessions for the sake of uniformity. This may result in broadly based long, bitter strikes which, due to the infexibility of the central bodies, are hard to terminate.</Abstract>
