						<Abstract Language="En">This study examines teacher strike activity using state-level data for the 1974-80. The public policy implication drawn from the empirical analysis is that if a state legislature wishes to minimize the level of teacher strike activity, the policy choice most likely to achieve that objective is binding interest arbitration. Statutory provisions allowing for injunctive relief are also negatively related to teacher strike activity, while the impact of strike prohibitions and penalties is less clear.</Abstract>
