This note has two objectives. First, using data from the Current Population Survey, it summarizes recent trends in sex segregation in managerial and professional occupations. Second, the note provides easy-to-compute and intuitive statistics that can help negotiators develop goals and track progress with respect to the extent of gender diversity in managerial and professional occupations in their organizations.
