						<Abstract Language="En">The basic assumption in most discussion about collective bargaining legislation is that strike remedies are designed to deter the development of strikes, although possible dysfunctional reactions to these negative remedies have at times been suggested. This paper examines some legislative strike remedies to assess their effectiveness in deterring strikes. It was concluded that current remedies are minimally effective at best.</Abstract>
