Abstract
Results are presented of how the changing institutional setting affects employee efficacy in public mental institutions. The evidence of the investigation overwhelmingly suggests that state mental health employees at the institution level feel unable to influence the decision-making process. Law feelings of efficacy characterize the entire employee spectrum irrespective of occupational position, education, or membership in employee unions. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
