Abstract
Rules of evidence, as applied in arbitration and as distinguished from legal rules, are discussed and illustrated. Administrative agency and court decisions are identified as major factors in the evolution of the evidentiary rules. The article describes the problem of balancing the intended informality of arbitration with the basic principles of due process. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
