						<Abstract Language="En">Interest and pressure group activity is analyzed in the context of state public employee relations laws and state &quot;open meeting&quot; laws. Normally, a discussion of pressure or interest group activity is relegated to the political arena where these groups attempt to influence legislators or executives at all levels of government. The suggestion made in this analysis is that the courts and state labor relations boards are susceptible receptors of pressure and interest group influence.</Abstract>
