Abstract
Many of the environmental consequences from technological development are related to that subsystem of human practices known as agriculture. This article sketches an approach to the basic categories of ethical values associated with the phenomenon of technological risk, and indicates the issues in dispute with respect to each category. The categories are then related to specific areas of concern within the practice of modern agriculture. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
