Abstract
The article examines the use of fuzzy relational equations in the context of the evaluation of projects with environmental consequences such as road and transit projects. Projects are characterized in terms of linguistic expressions of "performance" with respect to impacts or factors and the "importance" of those impacts or factors. An illustrative example is developed. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
