Abstract
This article is a critique of a river-basin water planning project conducted recently on an inter-disciplinary basis at North Dakota State University. It was financed by the Office of Water Resources Research (OWRR) of the United States Department of Interior. Discussed are some of the procedural and substantive deficiencies of the project, resulting from the disproportionately small size of the social science component of the research group. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
