We live in a world out of control, without integrated planning. Thermonuclear war, global ecocide, and increased poverty is our collective destiny unless we cooperatively guide the direction of history. This means our continuing education must include learning to design the future, planning transition steps, and undertaking social action so that theory and practice are tied together.
