						<Abstract Language="En">Differences in perceived acceptabilities of modes for the urban grocery shopping trip brought about by imposing a constraint on the availability of gasoline are examined. Uni-dimensional attitudinal scaling results show that such differences exist and vary over segments of the population.</Abstract>
