Abstract
Interdisciplinary research has the potential to produce more holistic views of the interaction between modern societies and their environments. Such views are becoming increasingly necessary due to the potential environmental alterations from our expanding technology. Interdisciplinary research teams typically have many difficulties due to personnel conflicts that are not common to disciplinary research. A number of factors which produce these conflicts are identified and several methods of management are discussed. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
