A survey was conducted to assess the perceptions of respondents from prominent businesses in a midwestern state. Findings indicated that respondents from service businesses perceived fewer barriers to ADA compliance than those from sales businesses. Business owner respondents had less favorable attitudes and perceived more barriers to compliance than those respondents in human resource positions. Respondents from larger businesses perceived fewer barriers.
