and triglyceride metabolism. Activation of PPARα induces LXRα , while several PPARα ligands (some fatty acids and the acidic forms of fibrates) suppress
LXRα transcriptional activity. LXRα and PPARα may also suppress each other’s transcriptional activity by competing for their
