      <abstract abstract-type="article" xml:lang="en">
        <p>Der Artikel gibt einen Überblick über das Vorgehen bei der forensisch-psychiatrischen Bearbeitung einer seltenen Fragestellung in Strafverfahren. Die Beurteilung der Aussagetüchtigkeit steht am Anfang eines Beurteilungsprozesses der Glaubhaftigkeit einer (Zeugen-)Aussage. Psychische Störungen können die Fähigkeit zur Abgabe einer "gerichtsverwertbaren" Aussage beeinträchtigen, Dass aufgrund psychopathologischer Auffälligkeiten jedoch die Aussagetüchtigkeit verneint werden muss, ist ein seltener Vorgang. Insbesondere Persönlichkeitsstörungen rechtfertigen nicht grundsätzliche Zweifel an der erhaltenen Aussagetüchtigkeit von Zeugen, vielmehr sollten die mit dieser Diagnose einhergehenden Auffälligkeiten im weiteren aussagepsychologischen Beurteilungsprozess Berücksichtigung finden.</p>
