Exact indication of the publication from which you would like to reproduce material and detailed information about its intended use help to facilitate and expedite request processing. <p>Beim inflammatorischen fibroiden Polypen (IFP) handelt es sich um eine seltene Entität einer submukösen mesenchymalen gastrointestinalen Läsion, die 2-3% aller Magenpolypen ausmacht. Derartige Polypen bleiben in aller Regel asymptomatisch, können sich allerdings in seltenen Fällen, je nach Grösse und Lokalisation, in Form von Magenentleerungsstörungen, gastrointestinalem Blutverlust oder auch unspezifischen abdominellen Beschwerden äussern. Aufgrund ihres teilweise polypoiden Wachstums wurde bisher nach Indikationsstellung entweder eine endoskopische Polypektomie oder chirurgische Resektion (ca. 50%) vorgenommen. Eine neuere Methode, solche submuköse Tumore zu entfernen, ist die endoskopische Submukosadissektion-Technik (ESD). In der Literatur wurden bisher nur vereinzelte solche Fälle beschrieben. Wir berichten über 2 von 7 IFP-Fällen, die in unserer gastroenterologischen Praxis an einem mittelgrossen Spital mittels endoskopischer Submukosadissektion (ESD) in den letzten 5 Jahren reseziert wurden.</p>
