      <abstract abstract-type="article" xml:lang="de">&lt;p&gt;Avulsionsverletzungen im Kindes- und Adoleszentenalter sind selten, jedoch in keinem Fall zu unterschätzen. In unserem Fall präsentiert sich ein 14-jähriger Junge, welcher sich eine Avulsionsverletzung der Tuberositas tibiae bei einem Hyperextensionstrauma des Knies beim Hochsprung zugezogen hat. Wir haben eine offene Reposition und interne Fixation mit zwei Spongiosschrauben sowie Augmentation des Ligamentum patellae mit Fadenankern durchgeführt. Zehn Wochen postoperativ hat sich klinisch, sowie MR- und computertomographisch bestätigt, eine sekundäre Avulsion der Patellarsehne gezeigt. Nach Revision mit einer transossären Reinsertion der Patellarsehne und McLaughlin-Cerclage ist die Verletzung problemlos ausgeheilt.&lt;/p&gt;</abstract>
