        <p>Das Alport Syndrom beinhaltet neu jegliche Erkrankung, die mit einer Mutation im Kollagen Typ IV α3, α4 oder α5 einhergeht. Diese können verschiedene Ausprägungen haben. Es sollten regelmässige Nachkontrollen erfolgen, um im Bedarfsfall prophylaktische Massnahmen frühzeitig zu beginnen. Eine genetische Analyse zur genauen Klassifikation bei Kollagen IV Erkrankungen ist notwendig. Die Diagnose einer dünnen Basalmembran ist eine histomorphologische.</p>
