Granulozyten-Kolonie stimulierende Faktoren (G-CSF) werden in der Onkologie unter anderem prophylaktisch zur Verkürzung der Neutropenie-Dauer eingesetzt. Das Risiko der Entwicklung einer febrilen Neutropenie wird somit reduziert. In der Regel sind die zu erwartenden Nebenwirkungen mild (Knochenschmerzen und Fatigue), selten können aber auch schwerwiegende Nebenwirkungen auftreten. Wir berichten über den Fall einer 60-jährigen Frau mit schwerer Pegfilgrastim-assoziierter Aortitis im Rahmen der Mammakarzinom-Behandlung.
