Wir beschreiben den Fall einer seltenen Differentialdiagnose von Husten: die pulmonale Nokardiose. Erläutert werden die initiale Anamnese, die Untersuchungsbefunde, der Weg zur Diagnosestellung, die Therapie, der Verlauf und zum Schluss werden allgemeine Informationen zur Erkrankung und die aktuellen Therapieempfehlungen diskutiert. Abgeschlossen wird das Paper mit vier hilfreichen Merkpunkten zur pulmonalen Nokardiose.
