        <p>Die initiale Verdachtsdiagnose eines Morbus Behçet musste nach einer ausführlichen rheumatologischen Abklärung verworfen werden. Erst die dermatologische Abklärung im Rahmen des dritten Schubes ergab die Diagnose eines Fuchs-Syndrom. Das Fuchs-Syndrom, eine Unterform des Erythema multiforme majus, präsentiert sich typischerweise mit überwiegend oder ausschließlich Läsionen im Schleimhautbereich. Das Erythema multiforme ist eine akute, selbst-limitierende und manchmal rezidivierend verlaufende Hauterkrankung, als Typ IV-Hyperensitivitätsreaktion assoziert mit gewissen Infektionen, Arzneimitteln oder anderen Triggern (  [i]  ).
Ursache für die Manifestation des Fuchs-Syndroms sind meist Infektionen, die häufigsten Erreger sind  Herpes-Simplex-Viren oder Mycoplasma pneumoniae (1/2).</p>
