      <abstract abstract-type="article" xml:lang="de">
        <p>20-50% der von Patientinnen und Patienten in der Grundversorgung geschilderten Körpersymptome sind funktioneller Natur, d.h. nicht mit einem biomorphologischen Befund auf Organebene korrelierbar. In Zentrumsspitälern akkumulieren sich oftmals Fälle mit Kombinationssymptomen, die sich dadurch charakterisieren, dass zwar eine somatische Komponente vorhanden ist, diese aber das Gesamtbeschwerdebild nicht vollständig plausibilisiert. Erst die Integration der additiven funktionellen Komponente schafft ein schlüssiges Bild. Ziel dieser Zusammenstellung ist ein Orientierungsrahmen zu schaffen, um die Vielfalt funktionell bedingter Körperbeschwerden besser einordnen und angehen zu können.</p>
