        <p>Nachdem der erste Teil der Schweizer Expertenkommentare zu den 2020 veröffentlichten Richtlinien der  European Society of Cardiology  (ESC) das Thema der Diagnostik und Risikostratifikation der akuten Lungenembolie (LE) erläutert hat (  Ref Engelberger et al SMF…),  wird nun in diesem zweiten Teil die eigentliche Behandlung und Nachsorge der LE Patienten diskutiert(1).  [1]   Seit der Publikation der ESC Richtlinien für die LE wurden vor kurzem ebenfalls die neusten Richtlinien der  American Society of Hematology  (ASH)* zu verschiedenen Themen der Diagnostik und Behandlung der venösen Thromboembolie (VTE) veröffentlicht (  Ref Wuillemin Editorial SMF  …)(2), welche die letztmals 2016 aktualisierten Empfehlungen des  American College of Chest Physicians  (ACCP)(3) weitgehend ersetzten. Der Vollständigkeit halber haben wir die ausführlicheren Empfehlungen der ASH zur Thematik der Antikoagulation in diesem hauptsächlich der ESC Richtlinien gewidmeten Artikel integriert.</p>
