      <abstract abstract-type="article" xml:lang="de">
        <p>Nous présentons un cas clinique ayant amené à une revue de littérature concernant la maladie de Creutzfeldt-Jakob (MCJ). Il nous a paru intéressant de partager notre expérience de non spécialistes à propos de cette maladie rare, dont le diagnostic est un véritable challenge du fait de l'évolution très rapidement fatale et du diagnostic très rarement posé du vivant des patients. Dans le cas rapporté, ce diagnostic a été évoqué devant des troubles de la marche et des troubles cognitifs rapidement progressifs. Malgré de nombreuses investigations, le diagnostic de MCJ n’a pas pu être retenu dans un premier temps. Encore trop méconnue, la technique RT-QuIC effectuée dans le liquide céphalo-spinal (LCS) a été décisive dans le cheminement vers le diagnostic.</p>
