        <p>Chemsex beschreibt die bewusste Einnahme bestimmter Drogen (Chems) vor oder während einer geplanten sexuellen Aktivität, wodurch die sexuelle Interaktion erleichtert und sexuelle Hemmungen abgebaut werden sollen. Der Begriff wird hauptsächlich im Zusammenhang mit Männern verwendet, die Sex mit Männern (MSM) haben. Zu den Chems gehören Mephedron, γ-Hydroxybutyrate (GHB), dessen Prodrug γ-Butyrolactone (GBL) und Crystal Methamphetamin. Chemsex erhöht sexuelle Risikoverhaltensweisen wie ungeschützter Sex, mehrere Sexualpartner sowie risikoreiche Sexualpraktiken, wodurch sich das Risiko für sexuell übertragbare Infektionskrankheiten (STDs) erhöht. Medizinisches Personal muss mit dem Phänomen Chemsex und den zugrundeliegenden Motiven und Risiken vertraut sein, um angemessene Unterstützung zu leisten und Gesundheitsrisiken zu minimieren. In diesem Artikel möchten wir das Chemsex-Phänomen einem breiteren medizinischen Fachkreis in der Schweiz vorstellen.</p>
