Die zunehmende Anerkennung von Geschlechtervielfalt bildet sich auch in der ICD-11 ab: Die neue Diagnose «Geschlechtsinkongruenz» beendet die stigmatisierende Psychopathologisierung von trans Menschen und vollzieht formal einen Paradigmenwechsel nach, der den Zugang zu medizinischen Behandlungen bedürfnisorientiert und nach evidenzbasierten Kriterien regelt.
