      <abstract abstract-type="article" xml:lang="fr">
        <p>Le syndrome d’hypersensibilité à l’azathioprine est rare et se manifeste par des symptômes souvent confondus avec un sepsis, un syndrome de Sweet ou une poussée de la maladie de base (connectivite, pneumopathie interstitielle, vasculite ou rectocolite ulcéro-hémorragique). L’unique traitement est l’arrêt définitif de l’azathioprine. En effet, sa réintroduction, même à dose très faible, induit une réaction plus rapide et plus sévère. Les symptômes se résolvent généralement dans la semaine suivant l’arrêt de l’azathioprine.</p>
