However, the 4 genomic 16S rRNA genes for this strain are a 100% for the type of Psychrobacter adeliensis Shivaji et al. 2004 (Shivaji originally deposited a chimeric 16S sequence but it has since been re-sequenced). This could be a great example for a lecture. Incidentally, it is also one of Tiedje's strains. This should be considered a later heterotypic synonym.
