    <curatorial-note>This is a good example of a case that the Code doesn't cover. The species is formerly of the genus that this genus has been merged into, but the rules of priority would favor this name for the species. The new combination event cannot be marked as ignored for priority, as that would interfere with the application of the rules of priority.</curatorial-note>
    <public-note>García-López et al. 2020 indicate that Labilibacter should be re-unified with Saccharicrinis, and transferred Labilibacter aurantiacus (the type species of Labilibacter) into Saccharicrinis, effectively unifying the genera. The authors failed to mention Labilibacter marinus (a former species of Saccaricrinis).</public-note>
