No nomenclatural type was asserted. A later correction by Hildebrand et al. 2020 cited Zhang et al. 2018 but did not clarify the circumscription of the taxon or authorities of the taxa involved. Furthermore, the correction asserted Mageeibacillus as the nomenclatural type, but Hildebrand et al. 2019 had included that taxon as the sole representative of Discordiaceae and it was not included in the circumscription of Erisaceae. It can be concluded that the correction referred to the incorrect taxon, and that this taxon lacks a nomenclatural type. Oren A.
