    <public-note>Thermogladius shockii was originally proposed as the type species for the genus Thermogladius, however the deposit carried restrictions and therefore did not conform with Rules 27 and 30. Thus, the species and genus names, as proposed by  Osburn and Amend 2011 could not be validly published.</public-note>
