Nomenclatural History
The species Rhodobacter euryhalinus was originally described by Kompantseva 1985. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 29 in 1989. In 1994, Hiraishi and Ueda established as the basonym of (Kompantseva 1989) Hiraishi and Ueda 1994 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 .
