Nomenclatural History
The species Rhodovulum euryhalinum was originally described and validly published by Hiraishi and Ueda 1994. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Hiraishi and Ueda formed this name in 1994 by placing the species Kompantseva 1989 into the genus Hiraishi and Ueda 1994.
