Nomenclatural History
The species Sphingomonas subarctica was originally described and validly published by Nohynek et al. 1996. In 2001, Takeuchi et al. established as the basonym of (Nohynek et al. 1996) Takeuchi et al. 2001 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 . Lim et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Delaporte and Daste 1956) Lim et al. 2007 in 2007.
