Nomenclatural History
The species Sphingomonas yanoikuyae was originally described by Yabuuchi et al. 1990. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 34 in 1990. In 2001, Takeuchi et al. established as the basonym of (Yabuuchi et al. 1990) Takeuchi et al. 2001 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 .
