Nomenclatural History	The species Brevundimonas vesicularis was originally described and validly published by Segers et al. 1994. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Segers et al. formed this name in 1994 by placing the species Pseudomonas vesicularis (Büsing et al. 1953) Galarneault and Leifson 1964 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Brevundimonas Segers et al. 1994 emend. Abraham et al. 1999.
