Nomenclatural History	The species Rhizobium giardinii was originally described and validly published by Amarger et al. 1997. In 2015, Mousavi et al. established Rhizobium giardinii as the basonym of Pararhizobium giardinii (Amarger et al. 1997) Mousavi et al. 2016 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 .
