Nomenclatural History
The species Sinorhizobium arboris was originally described and validly published by Nick et al. 1999. This name was affected by Judicial Opinion 84 in 2008. In 2003, Young established as the basonym of (Nick et al. 1999) Young 2003 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 .

The emendation by Kuzmanović et al. 2022 only declared the genome characteristics, which do not satisfy the requirements of a change in taxon characters.
