Nomenclatural History
The genus Terasakiella was originally proposed and validly published by Satomi et al. 2002. Han et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2016. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Yoon and Kang in 2018.

Yoon and Kang erroneously attributed the genus name Terasakiella to Han et al. 2016.
